Overview
Electric geordie (tentatively Salpapod geordiwangi). A relative or morph of the common geordie attracted to electrical current. Seeks out live current and can tolerate surprising amperages, making it dangerous to remove by hand or tool. Its four diverticular pouches are flooded with a hydrogel similar to ampullary receptive mucus. It is implausible but not impossible that the geordie has evolved to metabolize electrical current. Assessment: a serious pest on electrical and communication systems. Lures may be required to manage infestation.
Survival
Do not try to remove by hand. Disable power to the affected system before attempting removal.
