Subnautica 2 Titanium Ingot — How to Farm Titanium & Craft Ingots
How to farm Titanium in Subnautica 2: Lifepod seafloor and Camp One (300m NE). Titanium Ingot recipe (5 ore → 1 ingot), plus blueprints for Tadpole and more.

What Are Titanium and Titanium Ingots?
Titanium is the most fundamental building material in Subnautica 2 — almost every early-game tool and base module requires it. Five Titanium ore crafted at the Fabricator yields one Titanium Ingot, which is required for mid-to-late game blueprints including the Tadpole submarine, Vehicle Fabricator, and Bioreactor.
Where to Find Titanium
Directly Below Your Lifepod (Closest)
Lifepod Seafloor Nearest
From the moment you start, Titanium chunks are scattered on the seabed and reef directly beneath your Lifepod. Grab these first — they're your fastest path to early crafts without any swimming.
Camp One (300m Northeast)
Camp One Outpost Area Best Farming Spot
Swim approximately 300m northeast of your Lifepod to reach the abandoned Camp One outpost. This zone has dense Titanium veins and nodes around rock outcroppings and cave entrances. Open terrain, good visibility, and relatively low creature threat make it the most reliable mid-game Titanium farm.
General Spawn Pattern
Rocky Outcrops and Sandy Mounds Widespread
Titanium spawns broadly across rocky terrain in clusters of 2–4 ore. Gray-striped rock outcrops are the key visual indicator. Scan the seafloor systematically and you'll rarely go far without finding some.

Farming Tips
- Clear the seafloor below your Lifepod immediately on game start to get a fast early-game stockpile.
- Head to Camp One (300m NE) once you have the Underwater Thruster — it's the most efficient mid-game source.
- Mine 15+ Titanium per trip to craft 3 ingots and satisfy multiple recipes in one run.
- Stock 12–15 Titanium before attempting the Tadpole — between the sub and any base building, you'll use more than you expect.
- Large Titanium nodes require the Sonic Resonator — unlock it mid-game for better yields.
💡 Efficiency tip: Build a small relay base with a storage container at Camp One. Drop off ore between dives instead of swimming back to your main base each time — this alone can double your Titanium output per session.
